High borosilicate glass tube is a special glass material mainly composed of silicon dioxide (SiO ₂>78%) and boron trioxide (B ₂ O3>12%). Due to its low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3 ± 0.1 × 10 ⁻⁶/K), it is often referred to as “borosilicate glass 3.3”.
Excellent thermal stability: With a softening point of up to 820 ℃, it can withstand temperature changes caused by rapid cooling and heating, and has strong resistance to thermal shock.
High chemical stability: acid and alkali resistance, water resistance meets first-class standards, superior corrosion resistance, and no toxic side effects.
High transmittance and high strength: With high transmittance and mechanical strength superior to ordinary glass, it breaks into large cracks instead of particles, ensuring high safety.
